About Me

I’m Romy Weevers. For many years, my relationship with food and my body was one of control and disconnection. I was constantly chasing the “right” way to feel better, but the more I tried, the further I drifted from myself.

Recovery wasn’t simple or quick. It took time, patience, and a lot of self-compassion. What I learned along the way was that healing isn’t about fixing or forcing change — it’s about learning to listen to yourself, even when that feels difficult or uncomfortable.

After I started to find peace, I was drawn to movement—not as a tool for control, but as a way to reconnect with my body. My background training as a Barre instructor, and later in Pilates, gave me a new perspective on what movement can be: a practice of gratitude instead of performance or punishment.

Still, even after recovery, I struggled with the confusing and conflicting messages around health, food, and self-care. That’s when I decided to train as an Integrative Health Coach at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. The holistic approach I learned there — focusing on mind, body, spirit, and nervous system — felt like the missing piece I’d been searching for.

I’m not here to hand you a plan or tell you what to do. I believe healing looks different for each of us, and there’s no quick fix or one-size-fits-all solution. I know the patterns we carry—rooted in old beliefs, past experiences, and survival strategies—run deep. My role is to walk gently beside you as we slowly unravel those layers together, creating a relationship with food, movement, and yourself that feels honest, kind, and truly sustainable.

This work is rooted in empathy and patience because I’ve been there. It’s about rediscovering your own wisdom, not adding more rules or pressure. For me, that’s what healing looks like — messy, imperfect, but deeply human.

Along Romy

Along Romy came from my own healing — and the desire to offer the kind of support I once needed but couldn’t find. It’s a space for women who feel disconnected from their body, tired of obsessing over food and body image, or unsure how to care for themselves in a way that actually feels good.

I know how it feels when life’s expectations and old patterns weigh heavy. This isn’t about jumping into another set of rules. It’s about creating room to breathe, to be honest with yourself, and to gently explore what feels sustainable and kind. We focus on building a nourishing relationship with food, movement, and self that fits you — not the other way around — because an unhealthy mindset will never support a healthy body.

Taking that first step can feel overwhelming. I’ve been there—knowing deep down that things aren’t okay, but not quite sure how to say it out loud. It takes a quiet kind of bravery to let someone in. And often, healing starts when you give yourself permission to stop carrying it all by yourself.

I believe the most meaningful progress happens when we work side by side. You bring your story, your strength, and your wisdom — and I’m here to offer steady support and honest guidance. Together, we create space for you to reconnect with yourself in a way that feels genuine and manageable. Wherever you are in your journey with food and your body, I’ll be alongside you. Step by step, we’ll move forward together.
